Wireless Network Installation in Stuart & the Treasure Coast
Business wireless designed for your building, not a consumer router in a cupboard.
What makes business wifi different from a consumer router?
Business wireless is designed around the building it has to cover and the number of devices that will use it. C&W Technologies surveys, installs and supports it for Treasure Coast businesses from Stuart, Florida.
The difference from a consumer router is not raw speed. It is that multiple access points hand devices between each other as people move, capacity is planned for the number of devices actually present, and the whole thing is managed centrally instead of rebooted when it misbehaves.
It is also segmented. Guest traffic, staff devices and anything running equipment should not share one flat network, because a compromised guest device should not be able to reach your server.
Coverage is decided by the building. Concrete, metal racking, glass and older Florida construction all attenuate signal differently, which is why a survey precedes a quote rather than following one.
Why wifi problems persist
-
Coverage was guessed, not measured
Access point placement based on where power happened to be available produces dead zones that no amount of replacement hardware fixes.
-
Capacity was sized for people, not devices
Every person now carries two or three connected devices. Networks sized for headcount run out well before the room is full.
-
Everything shares one flat network
Guests, staff and equipment on the same segment means one compromised device reaches everything.
-
Nothing is managed centrally
Consumer equipment gives no visibility. Without it, the answer to every problem is a reboot and a guess.
What's included
-
Site survey
Measuring the building, including the walls, racking and materials that actually determine where signal goes.
-
Coverage design
Access point placement and channel planning based on the survey, sized for device count rather than headcount.
-
Installation and cabling
Mounting, cabling and configuring access points properly, including power over Ethernet where needed.
-
Network segmentation
Separate networks for guests, staff and equipment, so one compromised device does not reach everything.
-
Central management
A single view of the wireless estate, so problems are diagnosed from data instead of guessed at.
-
Verification
Testing coverage after installation to confirm the design worked in practice, not just on paper.
You ask, we answer
How do we know if our wifi needs upgrading?
Dead spots, drops when people move between rooms, slowdowns when the office fills up, or equipment that loses connection intermittently. Any of those point at design rather than hardware age.
Can you cover a warehouse or a yard?
Yes, and those need proper surveying more than an office does. Racking, stock and outdoor distances all change the design substantially.
Do we need to run new cabling?
Often some. Access points need power and a wired connection back, and putting them where the signal needs to be usually means new runs.
Can guests be kept off our business network?
Yes, and they should be. Guest access on a separate segment is a standard part of the design, not an extra.
How long does installation take?
Most offices are a day or two once the design is agreed. Larger or multi-floor sites take longer, and the survey tells us which you are.
Will it work with our existing network equipment?
Usually. The survey and assessment establish what can be kept, and we would rather reuse working equipment than replace it for the sake of it.

Network Assessments & Optimization
A network assessment measures what your network is actually doing rather than what anyone assumes.

Structured Cabling Installation
Structured cabling is the organised physical wiring that connects everything in your building: network points, wireless access points, phones, cameras and door systems.
